Encore Event Designs grew from a tiny seed that was planted in 2010 when Jill started out in the event industry working with Baltimore's own "Man behind the curtain", Ralph Rizzo at R& R Events, Inc. Working beside one of Baltimore's best, she was given the opportunity to be a part of the design team for a multitude of prestigious clients' events including Wilmer Eye Clinic, The Annie E Casey Foundation, The Army/Navy Gala, and The Baltimore Raven's Super Bowl Ring Ceremony in 2013, just to name a few. However it wasn't all corporate, when Ralph handed Jill the reigns for the social events, she took the lead and ran with it. It was the social side that made her realize that event work was her passion and her calling. Unlike corporate events that often have unlimited budgets, Jill found she would thrive when she was able to guide her clients' design concepts that gave them the most 'bang for their buck'. This is still Encore's philosophy today. When not offering her services as a day of coordinator, Jill's partner Lisa is often seen behind the scenes making the dream become a reality. Lisa brings to the table a theater background lending to all aspects of the event industry especially special effects and production, as well as a sense of humor and a personality that few clients forget.
